Our Services

The Hearing Center provides extensive evaluation and testing for people of all ages who suffer from hearing loss. If you are experiencing difficulty hearing conversations or require higher volume to hear properly, please stop by our Center for a complete diagnostic evaluation.

  • Professional Audiology Services. Our audiologists provide hearing level and hearing aid consultation and evaluation.
  • Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) Testing: This procedure measures the echo of sounds produced by the ear when a stimulus is presented within an infant's ear canal that helps to evaluate the hearing problems of the newborn and young children.
  • Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing: This is a reliable, objective, non-invasive and painless way to measure how the brain responds to sound. Brain wave activity in the auditory centers of the brain is recorded in response to a series of clicks or tones presented to each ear, allowing the ABR test to indirectly estimate the level of hearing in the peripheral auditory system (middle ear and inner ear).
  • Tympanometry Testing. This test detects disorders of the middle ear to help evaluate ear fullness and hearing loss.
  • Microscopic External Ear Examination. This is an examination of the external and inner ear, and tympanic membrane, with an advanced video otoscope linked to a television monitor.
  • Hearing Aid Fitting. Our Ear, Nose, Throat specialists are able to provide and fit you with the optimal Siemens or Widex high-definition hearing instruments from the U.S. and Europe.
  • Hearing Aid Checking. We are always here to check, clean and repair all types of assistive listening devices.
  • Ear Plugs. We can provide made-to-order, German-standard noise reduction and swimming plugs.
  • Speech Therapy. Our language and speech pathologists identify and treat children who suffer from hearing impairment, speech sound disorders, stuttering, delayed speech or language development problems, voice disorders, and hoarseness. We also provide vocal training for those who suffer from alaryngeal speech, childhood apraxia of speech (a deficit in the ability to plan the motor movements necessary for speech that is believed to result from a neurological disorder that hampers the brain's ability to send the proper signals required to move the muscles involved in speech), birth defects such as cleft palate and cleft lip, as well as swallowing and tongue thrust disorders.
  • Cochlear Implants. This complex surgically implanted electronic device restores hearing in older patients who are profoundly deaf or severely hard of hearing by directly stimulating any functioning auditory nerves inside the cochlea with electrical impulses.

The Snoring Clinic

Our dedicated Snoring Clinic provides comprehensive facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep, airway, and breathing disorders.

  • Sleep Tests. We provide comprehensive evaluations of the patient's general level of sleep hygiene.
  • Somnoplasty or Radiofrequency Tissue Ablation. This is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure performed with local anesthesia that uses a low-intensity radio frequency signal to remove part of the soft palate to reduce snoring.
  • CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). This procedure is designed to eliminate snoring and prevent sleep apnea. The procedure delivers a stream of compressed air to a face mask worn during sleep, keeping the airway open under air pressure so that unobstructed breathing becomes possible.
  • Pillar Implants. This minimally invasive outpatient procedure treats snoring by placing three mesh polyester implants within the soft palate muscles under local anesthesia.

The Sinus & Allergy Clinic

The Sinus & Allergy Clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies, sinus conditions, hay fever, chronic coughs, recurrent colds and bronchitis, hives and skin allergies, and other immunologic conditions.

  • Skin Tests. These are conducted to identify possible allergens.
  • Immunotherapy. Better known as "allergy shots," this involves giving gradually increased doses of the substance, or allergen, to which the patient is allergic, thereby increasing tolerance to those allergens.
  • Sinuscopy. A sinuscope connected to a TV monitor allows us to access and inspect the sinus cavities and related structures. Sinoscopy can be either diagnostic or involve the use of lasers or other instruments that allow the surgeon to actually treat the underlying cause of the symptoms.
  • Blood Tests for Allergy Screening. Our screening process measures your immune system's response and possible allergic reaction to particular foods or medications.
  • Sinus Balloon. Balloon Sinuplasty technology is a fast, innovative and easy way to reestablish ventilation and draining of blocked sinus passageways using balloon dilation.

The Vertigo Clinic

Our Vertigo Clinic evaluates and treats patients experiencing vertigo and dizziness problems that suggest the balance mechanism in the inner ear and vestibular nerves are not working properly. Please visit us if you are experiencing any of these symptoms: wooziness, combined with a whirling or spinning sensation; lightheadedness as though you are floating; dizziness so severe that you fear that you may lose your balance and fall; feelings of floating downward; or free-falling.

The Neck Mass Clinic

Here, we provide examination and management of all common neck mass problems, from enlarged lymph nodes or salivary glands, to malignant tumors, diseases of the thyroid gland, and mumps.
